WELCOME TO 4TH GRADE!
Karli Marino
Hi there! I am beyond excited to be your child's teacher this school year!
To get accustomed, I want to introduce myself. I grew up in Santee (and went
to Rio from Kindergarten through 8th!). I attended San Diego State University
for both my bachelor’s degree and credential. I am currently in the process of
attaining a Master’s in Teaching Literacy. An interest of mine is traveling. In the
summer of 2019, I spent six weeks in Europe and visited 10 countries! During
my time abroad, I taught English in Naples, Italy for two weeks. I supported
educators within the public schools by designing activities to progress young
children’s adaption of the English language, as well as teach English lessons
from their workbooks. This experience was the perfect opportunity to broaden
my cultural awareness to prepare for diverse classrooms. I am looking forward
to an exciting, academic-filled school year here in Room 30!
