Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome back to school! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Heather Fuentes and I have been teaching in the Santee School District for 13 years. I have taught multiple grades in my career so far, but I am very happy teaching 2nd grade!
I live in Santee with my husband and two kids. My son, AJ, is almost ten and my daughter, Mia, is eight years old. I am very close with my family and love spending time with them.
I feel so proud to be working in the same school district as I attended as a child. I went to Hillcreek from EAK-8th grade and graduated from Santana High School. Santee is a wonderful place to learn and teach.
I believe that a home-school connection is very important for student success. Please know you can reach me by phone and/or email with any questions or concerns at any time. Please read all information sent home carefully and fill out all forms as soon as possible.
