Hello Families,
My name is Charlotte (Char) Hunt and I am extremely excited to be working with your child. I cannot wait to see the students and build relationships with them and you as well.
A little bit about myself....
I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and have lived in Santee for the past 24 years. My husband and I have been married for 26 years and have 2 wonderful children, Zachary and Samantha. I received my teaching credential from Brandman University in Special Education and General Education. I also completed my Master's in Special Education from Brandman University. I just retired from the Navy Reserve as a Senior Chief after 23 years of service.
I have worked for the Santee School district since 2008 as a substitute, and that's when I knew I needed to get my credential in Special Education. Once I completed my credential program, I was hired full time as a Resource Teacher and I'm in my 8th year at Rio Seco. I am excited to be teaching your child at the same school that my own children went too.
