Hello! Welcome!
My name is Susan Starkey and I am native New Yorker who moved to San Diego with my husband Mark and our beagle-mix, Astro, in December of 2013
We have adult twins ( Michael and Ashley ) and via our daughter and son-in law we are now the very proud grandparents of Miss Juliet Aurora, born on July 15, 2020.
I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Dallas with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, Magna Cum Laude.
I hold Language Arts and Special Education certifications for grades K-12 in both Texas and California.
I also hold a teaching authorization for working with children with Autism, and I am currently at work on my Master's Degree in Special Education.
I look forward to teaching your child here at Rio Seco!
