Welcome to Room 16! I am so excited to be your child's 2nd grade teacher this year! It is going to be very different from what we are used to, but trying new things is so exciting!
I wanted to start off by telling you a little bit about me. This is my 19th year teaching in the Santee School District. I have a 13 year old son, an 11 year old daughter, and a little boy who is turning 9 in a couple of weeks! My children go to school in Lakeside at the same school that my husband is a principal at.
On our free time as a family, we love to be outside! I spend a lot of time on the soccer and baseball fields cheering on my kids! When we are not participating in sports, we love to travel, swim, and do anything else that is active and outdoors!
I love my job, and can't wait to meet my new students! I am looking forward to a wonderful year with your child!
